Some might say Fremantle are kryptonite to Geelong. Despite the ladder position, it’s a must win game for both teams. Geelong need to bounce back after a poor loss to the swans, especially with top 2 up for grabs. The dockers need to continue their promising form after their shocking start to the year. Could there be a potential upset again for the Cats?

ATM – Put your money on him

Hammer – Does the job

Biscuit – A chance for glory

Forwards:

Hammer – Hayden  Crozier (Fre) $6,500

Crozier is listed as a forward but has been playing as a half backman this year. Been constantly putting up scores, Averaging 78 but form of 89, 16 touches, 5 marks, and 3 tackles for the year. His last 6 games have been consistent to a tee. 89,89,90,89,115 and 98.

Biscuit – Nakia Cockatoo (Geel) $4,400

Finally back in the team after a stint on the sidelines, didn’t set the world alight but he has that potential to be a game changer. his from is 65fp, averaging 11 touches, 4 tackles and a goal a game. Last week scored 70 fp and i think Cockatoo will enjoy the open wings of Domain Stadium.

Ruck:

Biscuit – Zac Smith (Geel) $6,100

Averaging 69 , 12 touches and 17 H/O this year, Smith has been in reasonable form in the last two weeks, scoring 80 and 78 fantasy points. Although the cats have a plethora of ruck stocks, Smith has been able to go forward and kick goals. Fremantle have a short defence and will find it tough to match up on him. cheap ruck option why not take a punt,

Midfield:

ATM – Lachie Neale (Fre) $9,200

The banker this week, of course he will get attention from the Cats players and rightly so,  Neale is averaging 109 and form 115, 32 touches, 4 marks and 4 tackles. His last match Neale racked up 33 touches, 8 tackles and 5 marks scoring 133 in a big loss to the Demons. How can you look past him as a pick, the go to player in the midfield and knows how to find the ball.

Hammer – Michael Barlow (Fre) $8,800

Dropped one week then backed ut up with 40 dimes then broke his hand, so many ups and downs for Barlow this year. One thing is for certain he’s been putting up some numbers. Average 100 form 122, avg 25 touches, 3 marks ands 6 tackles. Barlow has scored 108,158,100,118 in his last month.

Biscuit – Connor Blakely (Fre) $5,800

This young gun has been in very good form this season, for a rookie coming into a tough situation, he’s taken it with both hands, avg 76, 20 touches, 4 tackles. Blakely is going of a decent game last week scoring 93 and having 20 disposals, 6 marks and 5 tackles. Theres a handful of cheap players to pick from, he’s proven.

Defenders:

Hammer – Andre Mackie (Geel) $6,400

Mackie has been loving the freedom don back with the inclusion of Henderson. Avg 74, 17 touches,5 marks, 3 tackles. Mackie will be playing his 250th game this weekend and generally you don play a bad game in your milestones. Last week mackie notched up 28 touches, 5 marks , 6 tackles and scored 113 fp.

Biscuit – Tom Ruggles (Geel) $5,400

Another young player doing his job, Juggles has slotted in very nicely for the cats, with bartel being managed he will have a much bigger role for the team. Already averaging 15 touches and 4 marks and his form is 82 fp. Juggles best game came just the other week having 21 touches, 9 marks, 3 tackles and scored 102.

DK’s Final Say:

Expect this game to be tighter than first thought. Fremantle players play well at home and Geelong will have something to prove. Don’t always pick the same big names, have a look at their form over the weeks and to see if they are playing well or in a slump. You have to look for that cheap rock that becomes a diamond by the final whistle. Gotta risk it to get the biscuit.
