Thrilling contest at Etihad Stadium tonight between the Magpies and Kangaroos.  The Pies won’t hold back from the clash, while the Kangaroos need all four points to keep the finals dream alive for another year.  With the roof likely to be closed for the occasion there is no excuses for poor disposals with pristine conditions in Melbourne Friday night.

Brodie Grundy $8,500

The tall Pie has continued his great form this season. He comes up against one of the biggest tests of the game.  Going up against Goldy tonight it won’t be easy to control the ruck, as a result Grundy will need push around the ground.  Averagaing 18 disposals is a big achievement for a ruckman and he will be needing every one of these disposals to combat the ruck dual in his favour.

Alex Fasolo $6,700

The Pies forward has been good when he has been able to play senior football in 2016.  In a high intensity game against the Roos, most of the attention will go toward Cloke and White, leaving Fasolo to roam through the forward line.  If he can kick his minimum 2 goals for the game look for a 70+Fp score by the end of the game.

Ben Brown $6,400

Big Ben Brown  has shine on occasions this season and will be looking to put two good games together back to back.  Averaging 5.6 marks and with 30 goals to his name he will be looking for a dominant impact in the forward line in the absence of Waite.  His marking prowess will be on display up the ground in a contest like this.

Trent Dumont $5,000

The young midfielder has been in and under in all contests this season hence he has earnt every opportunity coming his way.  Averaging 18.4 disposals and 5.6 tackles for a rookie priced at $5,000 is incredibly hard to find in the middle.  In a highly contested game for both sides, the hard hitting tackles from the likes of Dumont will be important.

Jack Ziebell $8,400

The tough bodied midfielder lived for occasions like tonight.  He will be raring to get stuck in and bring a high intensity tackling pressure.  Averaging 23 disposals and 5.6 tackles in the midfield, he also rests forward to add to the scoreboard for the Roos.  Another interesting scoring stat is the 34 free’s to his advantage in the season to date.

Steele Sidebottom $8,900

The classy midfielder has been in some fine form and with the added inclusion of Adams, Sidebottom will get of the leash more frequently.  He will know the importance of finishing the season off strongly for his side and will always lead from the front.  Averaging 25.6 disposals, 4.4 tackles and 5.7 marks since the starts of the season is a handy scoring platform for any top midfielder.

Robbie Tarrant $5,900

Tarrant has been one of the prominent defender in the Kangaroos side this season, therefore he should line-up on the main forward.  If he is able to play a good lock down role it will go far for the side to win the game.  An average of 6.1 will be important for intercept marking will also be a key factor in the defeat of the Pies come Friday night.

Jeremy Howe $7,000

The classy defender has made a home down back for the Pies this season.  In addition to the quality he provides in defence, he can also swing into the forward line to pitch hit if required.  Averaging 18.5 disposals also 6.1 marks he will be hard to stop once he gets going.  He hasn’t had many games since crossing to the Pies from the Demons, and I can’t see him starting now.
