NBA DFS Tips
Point Guard

Goran Dragic ($7,600)

The Miami Heat are on a roll right now, winning 5 straight. A lot of that has to do with the stellar play of Goran Dragic, who is averaging just over 37 fantasy points over the last five games. The Bulls have dealt with issues at PG all season, and as a result, are bottom ten in PG defense. They are also are dealing with a whole heap of lockeroom turmoil at the moment, which is never great for the defense. Today could be a great game for Dragic and the Heat as they hope to continue their win streak.

John Wall ($10,600)

John Wall can ball! He has been absolutely incredible this season, and against a bottom 5 PG defense I expect that to continue. John Wall is an elite fantasy option, playing against one of the five best PG match-ups. He should be heavily considered today.

Shooting Guard

Caris LeVert ($3,500)

Caris LeVert has been one of the more intriguing prospects for the Brooklyn Nets. He’s averaged +24 fantasy points per game over his last four, and he has a great match-up today against the Cavs, who have been struggling on defense. At the minimum salary, LeVert is a guy who should be heavily considered.

Norman Powell ($3,500)

Norman Powell has started the last two games in DeMar DeRozans absence and scored 29.8 and 31 fantasy points, respectively. Still at the minimum salary and receiving his third start in a row, Powell seems like one of todays bargain locks.

Small Forward

CJ Miles ($3,500)

CJ Miles has been inserted into the Pacers starting lineup for some floor spacing and has put up back-to-back solid games. However, a great match-up today gives Miles an opportunity to do even better than solid. Miles is another Minimum salary guy that should push into the 20’s.

Sam Dekker ($4,100)

Sam Dekker is a solid fantasy option. He consistently sees decent minutes and he is capable of scoring and rebounding at a good rate. However, with Eric Gordon likely to miss today, there will be added responsibility for Dekker off the Houston bench. His scoring will be pivotal against a revived 76ers team who will be hungry for a big scalp.

Power Forward

Willie Reed ($3,600)

As a starter this season, Willie Reed averages 14 points, 9 rebounds and 2 blocks in 26 minutes. So with Hassan Whiteside out today, Reed seems like another minimum salary lock.

Kevin Love ($7,200)

Despite the Cavs troubles, the fantasy scores haven’t been reflective. Kevin Love has scored 45 or more in the last two games, with great stat lines. It’s been the defense for the Cavs that has been the issues, and they will want to fix that today against the Nets. It should be a great chance for the Cavs to get back on the winners list, and love should take advantage against a bottom 3 PF defense.

Center

Al Horford ($7,400)

Al Horford has scored 30 or more in his last five games, including 46.1 in his last outing against the Rockets. The Magic are bottom ten against centers, so it’s a great match-up for Horford.
