Austin Rivers ($5,100)
In Chris Paul’s absence, Austin Rivers has been performing well. He’s scored 24.2 or more in the last 5 match-ups, including a 36.8 in his last game. Philly hasn’t been a great fantasy match-up this season, but with Embiid out, they are much easier to target.
George Hill ($5,600)
George Hill is coming off a bad game, but the match-up against the Nuggets is enticing. The Nuggets concede the second most fantasy points to PGs out of any team, and Hil has a high upside, evidenced by his 45.7 score against Indiana.
Bradley Beal ($6,800)
In a fairly poor field, Bradley Beal is probably the best and most consistent option available at shooting guard today. Beal’s form has only been okay and the match-up is only okay, but there aren’t a lot of other options at SG and this one is the safest.
Zach Lavine ($5,100)
Lavine is going through a tough stretch, so his form doesn’t warrant selection. However, a match-up against a bad defensive team that plays at one of the league’s fastest paces is always a good opportunity to bounce back. Lavine’s form may put him out of consideration for many players, which could make him an excellent point of difference for your squad.
Kawhi Leonard ($10,000)
Kawhi Leonard is on a hot streak right now, scoring 30+ points in his last 6 games. He missed the Spurs last game against the Nets with a sore hand, but if he plays in this one, he’s sure to continue his great form. Keep an eye on Leonard’s status and take a shot at him if he plays. There’s every chance he’s lightly own, which could be the difference you need.
Without a lot of other great options for today, Kawhi or Jimmy Butler are great ways to spend money at Small Forward.
Joe Ingles ($3,900)
With Rodney Hood still out, Joe Ingles will once again fill the starting position today for the Jazz against the Nuggets. Ingles is averaging 10 points, 4 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 steals as a starter. At minimum salary, Ingles is great value for that sort of production.
LaMarcus Aldridge ($7,000)
LaMarcus Aldridge has scored 41.3 or more in 3 of his last four games. He’s also in line for a usage bump if Kawhi Leonard misses his second consecutive game with a sore hand. If Leonard plays, Adridge is still worth a look, but if he misses he should be heavily considered.
David Lee ($4,600)
David Lee has been in incredible form, averaging 32.1 in his last three games. In Pau Gasol’s absence, Lee is seeing more game time and he’s using it well.
Nerlens Noel ($3,500)
Embiid will sit and Okafor is listed as questionable, which could mean big things for Nerlens Noel. Noel averaged 36.7 in his last 4 games as a starter and if he can produce anything like that he will be incredible value for the minimum salary.
