Thursday’s are for NBA fantasy! 11 action-packed games set for tip-off today, which means there is a tremendous amount¬†of variety and value to fill out your line-ups. Here are our NBA DFS tips to get you started:

Point Guard

Elfrid Payton – $5,800

Elfrid Payton has been in superb form recently with three scores of 39 or more in his last five games. This statistic looks much more impressive than his running average of 32.9 fantasy points per game in his last five or 25 fantasy points per game in his last ten. The game against Chicago isn’t of any significance to fantasy output; we are simply just banking on Payton having one of his better games.

Jeremy Lin – $4,400

Jeremy Lin has been playing some good basketball since returning to action a few weeks back. His price is still low, meaning that he can be selected in teams at minimal risk while he still has high scoring potential. The game against Atlanta is a favourable one for point guards, and Lin will be an excellent low-end option for your team.

Shooting Guard

Khris Middleton – $5,700

Khris Middleton’s price is considerably lower than what it should be at the moment, and there’s plenty of value to be had in selecting him because of his potential to ‘go bang’. He’s scored 43 points and 35 points in two of his last four games, while the others, the lower scores, weren’t that bad at all with a 27 and 29 fantasy point performance.

Jonathon Simmons – $3,500

Jonathon Simmons is in line for plenty of minutes on Thursday as Kawhi Leonard sits the game to rest. Simmons will be expected to play 25+ minutes this time around and will hit 5x value for owners because of his low salary of just $3,500. Simmons is a smart low-end option.

Small Forward

Jimmy Butler – $8,900

Jimmy Butler has been in excellent form through February and March with most of his scores reaching 45+ through this time. He’s questionable coming into the game on Thursday, and I recommend keeping an eye on his status as game-time approaches. If he does suit up, though, lock him in because of a good matchup and high scoring potential.

Sean Kilpatrick – $3,800

Sean Kilpatrick is the ultimate affordable tournament option right now in NBA DFS as he has scored 29 or more fantasy points in three of his last five games – crazy value from a $3,800 player! His low scores are extremely low, though, but it’s worth banking on a top game from Kilpatrick considering the risk vs. reward factor in play.

Power Forward

Paul Millsap – $7,700

Paul Millsap hasn’t had a bad game in weeks and has now managed 36+ fantasy points in five consecutive games. He’s got an excellent matchup against the Brooklyn Nets on Thursday and will look to dominate the opposing big men on the court on the way to one of his best performances of late.

Aaron Gordon – $5,200

Aaron Gordon is cruising through his last three games and has now scored 30+ in each of his last three outings. Surprisingly, his salary has gone down $200 from last game and now sits at just $5,200. He seems to be finding a consistent level of playing now that he is sitting around the 30 minutes per game area.

Karl-Anthony Towns – $11,200

KAT is tearing it up and doesn’t look like stopping anytime soon. He’s now averaging 48 fantasy points per game through his last thirty games and has been even more impressive through his last five with 51 points per game to his name. The matchup tomorrow against the Clippers is a positive one for KAT, as well. There are two options here with centre’s, and if you don’t like KAT, you can go down to Biyombo.

Bismack Biyombo – $3,700

Bismack Biyombo is incredibly cheap on Moneyball right now at just $3,700 and stands out as a sure tournament option if you’re instead looking to spend up and buy the elite players in other positions. This is an awesome point of difference in the Thursday Monster, and I’d highly recommend taking a stab at Biyombo in this situation.
