NBA $7,000 Wednesday Swish Special
With a daylight savings change pulling an hour back in America, games are starting earlier. Today’s five-game slate will begin at 10:10am this morning, so make sure you get in before lockout. There are some great plays to be had today. so don’t miss out on your chance to claim a share of $7,000 in prizes. Here are our NBA DFS tips!
Jeremy Lin ($4.800)
Most fantasy players would be aware that at full strength, Jeremy Lin is worth a lot more than $4,800. They should also be aware that he’s starting to work his way back into form after injury. He’s playing minutes in the late 20’s and putting fantasy scores up in the late 20’s or early 30’s. With a good match-up against OKC, Jeremy Lin could be one of the better plays of the day.
Reggie Jackson ($5,500)
Reggie Jackson should have fond memories of his last game against the Cavs and it may have been just what he needed to recapture some of his best form. After scoring 29.6 fantasy points against the Cavs – and doing most of his damage in the fourth quarter – Jackson followed it up with a 36.6 point performance against the Knicks. If Jackson is back to his old self, then it might be a good time to target him at his current price.
Caris LeVert ($3,700)
If you’re looking to save some cash to spend up at other positions, then Caris LeVert is your guy. He’s got a good level of consistency for a min salary guy and he’s also got some upside. He’s scored 15 or more fantasy points in 5 of his last 7 games, including two games with 25+. He’s also one of this seasons hidden gems if you ever get the opportunity to watch the Nets play (not exactly a league pass team).
Klay Thompson ($6,900)
Klay Thompson has scored 39.7 and 40.2 in his last two games, finding some form with KD out of the lineup. It makes sense in theory that Klay would benefit from more scoring touches and as he has had time to adjust, it seems he’s taken advantage of the change. With a game’s rest (the Warriors rested their stars against the Spurs if you didn’t hear), Klay should be in prime position for another big score.
Paul George ($8,200)
Paul George has scored 43 or more fantasy points in his last two games. Now he will turn his sights on the lowly New York Knicks. With good form, a good match-up and a reasonable price, PG13 is one of the more family friendly fantasy choices of the day.
Richaun Holmes ($4,700)
Richaun Holmes has made some sizeable contributions in the last few weeks, including a 30.8 fantasy point effort against the Warriors in their last encounter. There’s a little risk involved with Holmes as he doesn’t see consistently big minutes. But there’s great value to be had if he scores another 30+.
Taj Gibson ($4,100)
Do you trust Taj Gibson with one of the best fantasy match-ups in basketball? He’s had an injury concern and is expected to play through it and his form so far hasn’t left a lot to be desired. But he’s extremely cheap and Brooklyn are the perfect opposition to find your groove. This may be a contrarian pick, but I have a feeling it could pay off.
Andre Drummond ($8,700)
Andrew Drummonds’ price has risen to $8.7K, which may have been an instant fade earlier this sason. But Drummond, Jackson and the Pistons as a whole are really starting to come together. Their core duo are beginning to play well, especially together, and Drummond is coming off of two 40+ fantasy point performances. Without a lot of reliable options at center today, taking a chance on Drummond seems like a worthy option.
