How good is footy on a Thursday Night? Easter weekend brings us 5 days of non stop action, kicking off with the $10,000 West Coast Eagles against the Swans Special. Swans sitting 0-3 and the Eagles dropping a crucial away game. Which one will get the chocolates tonight? Here are my AFL fantasy tips for tonight’s clash!
ATM – Bank on Him
Hammer – Does the Job
Biscuit – Cheapy that has potential
Hammer – Lance Franklin $8700
Buddy has continued to start strong this year, despite a dirty day last week being goalless in his 250th and putting up 17 touches, 7 marks and 4 tackles scoring 83 fp. The wide open wings of Domain Stadium will help Buddy roam around, always a tough matchup on any ground to say the least. Will want to bounce back this weekend.
Hammer – Mark LeCras $7600
LeCras has been averaging 77 fp and surprisingly is away form has been better than home, something different to last year. LeCras is an odd matchup for the Swans with Rampe out, Should push into the midfield at stages, can kick a bag of goals.
Biscuit – Callum Sinclair $5800
Second game for the year and up against his old side. a solid 67 with 8 touches, 3 marks, 6 tackles and 14 H/O scoring 67 fp. With no Naismith and Tippett this week, Sinclair will take a lot of the ruck load.
ATM – Josh P. Kennedy $9700
JPK has been the more consistent midfielder for the Swans this seasons, With his size and strength there isn’t someone in the Eagles lineup who can match up with him, 32 touches and 1 goal scoring 91 fp last week verse the Pies. Expect a massive performance this week.
Hammer – Jake Lloyd $8300
Plays off halfback but always swings into the midfield, a handy ball magnet that is clean with the ball, with Parker and Hannebery not quite at their best, Lloyd has looked to up his stocks this year. averaging 102 fp and coming off 34 touches and 5 marks scoring 108 fp.
Hammer – Elliot Yeo $7800
Yeo has finally lifted to the potential we all knew he had, averaging 101 fp and coming off 20 touches, 4 marks and 5 tackles vs the Tigers scoring 81 fp. Dangerous player who can play forward, mid and back. Seems to like the freedom and responsibility.
Biscuit – Nic Newman $6000
This rookie is due for a rising star nomination, averaging 85 fp and coming off his best game in his career, 23 touches, 4 marks and 4 tackles scoring 93 fp. The wide wings will help his ability to run and carry for the Swans, has shown to be able to kick a goal too.
Hammer – Sharrod Wellingham $6000
Wellingham has been the Eagles best backman this season, his ability to run from defence and set up play with his skills has been second to none. the Omission of Jetta could push him more into the midfield. Averaging 82 fp and coming off 21 disposals and 8 marks scoring 88 fp vs the Tigers.
