After an enormous amount of feedback from our users and deliberations with the Northern Territory Racing Commission over the past couple weeks there have been some important changes to Major League Baseball (MLB) terms and conditions.

MLB Postponed, Abandoned Games & Cancelled Games

In the event that 75% or more of the fixtures for a contest go ahead on the scheduled day (are not postponed, abandoned or cancelled) the contest will go ahead and proceed as normal. Players participating in any game that is cancelled, postponed, or rescheduled to another match day will not accrue points and will subsequently receive a score of 0.

In the case that less than 75% of the fixtures for a contest go ahead on the scheduled day, the contest is considered void and the entry fees are returned to the member in full.

For Example:

For a 6 fixture contest, 2 fixtures are postponed to another day. This means only 66.67% of the games went ahead for that contest slate, so the contest would be considered void and all entry fees returned to members.

For a 8 fixture contest, 2 fixtures are postponed to another day. This means exactly 75% of the games went ahead for that contest slate, so the contest would proceed as normal with players in the 2 postponed games receiving a score of 0.

For a 10 fixture contest, 2 fixtures are postponed to another day. This means 80% of the games went ahead for that contest slate, so the contest would proceed as normal with players in the 2 postponed games receiving a score of 0.

MLB Suspended or Shortened Games

If the MLB declares a game “suspended” then the statistics generated before the game is suspended will count in contests containing said game. Any statistics generated on a later date when the game resumes will not be included.
