NBA $10k Thursday Monster

Point Guard

Ish Smith – $5,400

It’s hard to find mid-range priced players, and above that, you can trust on a slate like today. Ish Smith is a decent selection for your team at $5,400 today in an excellent matchup against the Orlando Magic and should continue to see a healthy dose of minutes at this point of the season.

Shabazz Napier – $3,500

With Portland resting both Damian Lillard and CJ McCollum, it’s time for Shabazz Napier to take over! He’s holding the keys to the Portland offense and will be one of the easiest selections today in Daily Fantasy NBA. In his last game as a starter, he had a massive usage rate of 35.4 through 36 minutes of game time and scored 42.7 fantasy points – lock!

Shooting Guard

Jamal Murray – $4,100

Sadly, the Denver Nuggets don’t have all that much to play for right now. This makes it difficult to select players from the Nuggets team when they play against the Thunder today, but there is just the one guy I trust there above all to get a large chunk of game-time, and that’s Jamal Murray.

Justin Holiday – $3,500

Justin Holiday has been putting together fantasy scores like he costs $5,000 or more. The Knicks will be mixing up their lineup again today in more ways than one and I can probably only trust Justin Holiday and Guillermo Hernangomez to get adequate game time for fantasy relevance.

Small Forward

Rondae Hollis-Jefferson – $5,300

Hollis-Jefferson has been playing some great basketball lately and is one of the Nets players who continue to get a large chunk of minutes down the stretch. His last two games have been scores of 41.9 and 43.7 and it’s hard to back against him repeating this kind of form now that he is getting 30+ minutes game time.

Michael Beasley – $3,800

Michael Beasley will have a super high ownership rate today as the Milwaukee team opt to rest the majority of their lineup. We all know that Beasley loves to shoot, so he could very well have one of the highest usage rates out there at the small forward position today. At just $3,800, make sure he’s on your team!

Power Forward

Richaun Holmes – $6,200

Richaun Holmes is a prime pick if you’re looking for a mid-range power forward option to fit into your team. Holmes should see plenty of game time today against the Knicks. Holmes has the ability to put up scores in the mid-high 30’s and is likely to do so today with plenty of opportunities in this game.

Meyers Leonard – $3,500

Meyers Leonard is another beneficiary of Lillard McCollum and Nurkic sitting out – with a guaranteed boost in production coming his way.
While Leonard hasn’t really shown much of a huge-upside recently, he has the probability to score in the low 20’s today and return good value from $3,500.

Guillermo Hernangomez – $5,900

While the Knicks front-office will secretly be hoping that the result of today’s game against the 76ers increases their chance in the NBA lottery, guys like Guillermo Hernangomez will be out on the court hustling like usual. I like Hernangomez as one of the huge potential players out there today and could go absolutely berserk against the 76ers.

Boban Marjanovic – $3,500

Boban is still priced at the very minimum and the Pistons are likely to give him a good opportunity out on the court tonight to impress. Boban put up a huge 44.4 fantasy point performance a couple of games ago and we’re all hoping that he can do that again for those that choose to take a gamble on him today.
