We are back with our first full weekend of football in about a month and it is delightful, we’ve already had one upset this round in a year full of upsets and it is just making this crazy season even more enjoyable. The Bombers have been on of the most in form teams in recent weeks and they will be coming up against an up and down Swans team who are competing so much better than they were to start the season, so without any further ado, here are my AFL fantasy tips for this Friday night.

Swans vs Bombers Special

Tom Bellchambers – $6,200

Bellchambers has really stepped up for the Bombers this season and has been a big part of their current run of form, he will be coming up against 2 Swans ruckmen who haven’t exactly been lighting the world on fire with their form, so the stage is truly set for Bellchambers to stand up and claim dominance around the contest by giving his team first use of the ball.

Nic Newman – $7,100

Newman is really taking the game by storm down back for the Swans, he seems to know where the ball is going all the time and gathers a tonne of the ball throughout the game, he also has a silky left boot on him so his teammates do look to give the ball to him when they can as he can dispose the ball so well, this allows him to take simple uncontested marks across the half back line and gather those extra points we’ve all grown to love.

Lewis Melican – $4,100

Melican has come back into the side for this game after playing some great football in recent weeks, i personally thought he was quite unlucky to be omitted from last weeks team as he was playing some good football and doing a tonne of team acts, but he showed what he’s made of and has earned the instant recall back into the Swans lineup.

Zach Merrett – $11,200

Merrett is clearly one of the new upcoming elite midfielders of the game, i thought he would drop off his production this season with Watson and Heppell coming back into the side but i have never been more wrong, he simply keeps dominating the game and uses to ball incredibly well whilst doing it, he gathers the ball in all areas around the grounds and due to his exceptional ball skills his teammates do target him to give him the ball.

Josh P. Kennedy – $9,400

Kennedy is a true blue leader for the Swans, he was the first one to properly stand up for the Swans this season out of their elite midfield group, thus leading from the front, he can hold his head high with the way he has performed this year and coming up against the Bombers this weekend i expect him to lead from the front once more and dominate this game with his clearance work around the ground.

Oliver Florent – $4,100

Florent like Melican has been brought back into the Swans side this weekend, he has really shown some great form playing in the NEAFL, he has shown he can win a lot of the ball and use it well, will be looking forward to seeing him play a bit more through the middle at AFL level and hopefully improve his scoring output for us.

Tom Papley – $7,200

Papley has really shown us some impressive form in recent weeks, he has been applying some serious pressure inside the forward 50 and has been tackling like a man possessed winning himself several holding the ball free kicks whilst at it, over the last 3 weeks he has been averaging 95.3FP which is huge for someone valued at $7,200.

James Stewart – $4,400

Stewart has really shown some great form in recent weeks especially against the Power last time out, the Swans backline has been a little questionable so far this season and with all attention most likely going to be going to Daniher, Fantasia and even Tippa through the Bombers forward line, Stewart just may travel under the radar and pick himself up a few cheap goals and linking possessions into the forward 50, not many cheaper options in the game, but i believe he is one of the must have for this match up.
