Second week of byes through the AFL brings us 3 exciting matchups. The Suns look to improve on their good win last week against an undermanned Hawks. Port and Bombers are poised for a thrilling battle and the Lions are definitely due for a win with a chance against an up and down Fremantle. Here are my tips for today’s 5k contest.
ATM – Banker
Hammer – Reliable
Biscuit – Salary saver
Hammer – Robbie Gray $7,300
Been a bit up and down since the start of the year, definitely due for a big game. Gray is a tough matchup for any team and his speed around the ball will create havoc. Averaging 73 fp, 16 touches and kicks 24.11.
Biscuit – Ryan Burton $6,800
Burton is probably favourite for the Rising Star atm. The young hawk made a transition into the Hawks lineup with ease. Playing mainly as a defender but listed as a forward, averaging 88. Coming off 25 touches, 11 marks and 5 tackles scoring 118. Hasn’t looked like slowing down and at a good price.
Hammer – Patrick Ryder $7,700
Ryder having a great year, averaging 88 fp. Coming off 13 touches, 5 marks, 23 hit-outs and 1.2, scoring 78. Ryder seems to be in the action all the time and his fantasy points tick over with a variety of ways making him a game changer in fantasy.
ATM – Tom Rockliff $11,600
Huge price tag for Rocky and for good reason, averaging 129 fp and coming back off a couple of weeks off with a shoulder Injury. Rockliff is averaging almost 30 touches a game, 9 tackles, and 6 marks. He is a fantasy pig and will have a day out against the Dockers.
Hammer – Pearce Hanley $7,300
Only averaging 70 but coming back into some cracking form. 31 touches, 12 marks scoring 121 in his third game of the year. Has some room to improve and could be a handy inclusion today.
Biscuit – Lachie Weller $7,000
Weller has had a great month of football, a form of 94 fp and coming off 22 disposals and 6 marks scoring 82 fp. Including 109 and 92 in previous games. Weller will start in the midfield but likely move into defence and create from the half back line.
Hammer- Kade Kolojashnij $7,800
Kolo has continued to find form coming to the halfway point of the year. Averaging 88 but form of 104. Coming off 20 touches, 11 marks and 7 tackles scoring 113. Mid range price with plenty of upsides and could play a major role against the Hawks.
Hammer – Tom Cutler $6,200
Cutler’s average doesn’t do him any good, 69 fp but unfortunately, an injury early in the year during a game has hurt his scores. Last week Cutler put up 20 touches, 6 marks and 1 goal scoring 82. A nice option who isn’t expensive but can put up a decent score.
