As we wind down another season of the AFL, we can look towards what will be an exciting end to the year.  With plenty of teams still in the hunt for top eight spots, every game could prove costly.  All five games today have the potential to shake up the eight with every team something to lose.  Make the most of the footy we have left as we will be missing it again once it’s gone. AFL fantasy Tips:

Ruck

Sam Jacobs $9,000

Jacobs has been putting out some dominant performances in recent week.  Averaging 14.7 disposals, 4 marks, 3 tackles and 39.8 hit outs on the season.  If he is able to grab hold of the ruck contests for the duration of the game he will be in for a high scoring output.  Expecting a 100+Fp from the big boy.

Forwards

Josh Caddy $7,300

His first match up against up his old side for Josh Caddy.  Short priced at $7,300 makes him a handy option in the forward line to take a punt on.  Coming off a monster game last week, if he can replicate half of that he will be in for another decent score.  Averaging this year 18.5  disposals, 4.2 marks and 3.4 tackles per game along with the 16 goals.

Josh J. Kennedy $7,800

Kennedy has certainly bounced back to his Coleman medal winning type form since returning from injury.  Averaging 12.3 disposals, 6.6 m arks and 54 goals against his name for 2017.  He has managed 20 goals over the last 4 weeks of the competition and against the Blues he will be looking for a similar output.  Expecting another big game from the key forward against his old club.

Midfield

Scott Selwood $7,500

In the absence of his brother and Mitch Duncan this week, a lot of the midfield capabilities will fall to Patrick Dangerfield and Scott Selwood.  He is an absolute steal at the $7,500 mark and has been putting up some big numbers.  Averaging 18.4 disposals, 3.4 marks and a massive 11.4 tackles throughout the season.  If he can swing the midfield battle towards the Cats, they will be the big winners points wise.

Dayne Zorko $10,200

Zorko has had another stand out season for the Brisbane Lions.  Averaging 25.1 disposals, 3.6 marks, 7.2 tackles and chipped in for 30 goals for the year.  Against a struggling Gold Coast midfield, the Lions can look to dominate the possession and shut down any hope of a Suns win.  Expecting a stellar performance for Zorko tonight, he won’t disappoint.

Brad Crouch $9,600

The Crouch brothers are still continuing to dominate the midfield battles out on the field.  Averaging 27.7 disposals, 2.5 marks and 6.9 tackles throughout the season.  He isn’t one of the highest priced midfielders from todays games but he certainly has the scoring ability to be up their amongst the best.  Against the Bombers, fully expect him to ramp up the tackle pressure away from home.

Defenders

Tom Stewart $5,600

Mature age Geelong defender, Tom Stewart has found himself a certain role in the back line for the Cats.  His scoring can be up and down from time to time but he will always work his backside off for his team.  Averaging 14.6 disposals and 3.9 marks but has been swung forward when required in recent weeks for Geelong.  If he is again then he could pinch a handy goal or two for his scoring on the day.

Daniel Rich $7,200

Finding some good form at the tail end of the season for the Brisbane Lions.  Averaging 20.9 disposals and 3.7 marks for the year, bur most importantly hitting the scoreboard in recent weeks with big goals.  If the Lions can keep Rich free enough to play his illustrious game then he will take hold of the contest with both hands and won’t let go.
