With Champions League fixtures ahead again this week, we have another busy Saturday to look forward to. With 8 fixtures in one day I hope you’re well prepared! West Ham face Spurs in what should be a cracking early match, so make sure your Moneyball teams are in early. There are 6 (Yes, six!) afternoon games including Man City, Chelsea and United. The big guns will be in action and our budgets will be stretched, so here are some picks I think could fire this weekend.

Aguero ($9,800 FWD)

If you didn’t have Aguero last week then it’s safe to say you probably didn’t win anything on Saturday. He tops the form charts thanks to his whopping 49 point return. I’m not sure he will be that great but a home game against Crystal Palace spells trouble. Gabriel Jesus played 90 minutes midweek while Aguero was rested, so Kun is the pick of the pair in my opinion. With 5 goals to his name already I’ll be shocked if it isn’t at least 6 by next week.

Salah ($6,600 MID)

For whatever reason Salah is still underpriced. He’s averaging 15.2 points per game thanks to his 13 shots on target and 3 goals. He’s Liverpool’s biggest threat going forward, although Coutinho’s return this week might change that. Leicester will cause Liverpool troubles but they’ll give the Reds chances, and that’s all they need. I’m tipping Salah to be red hot again this week.

Nick Pope ($3,000 GK)

I always love cheap keepers as they tend to rack up save points, even if they don’t keep a clean sheet. Burnley face Huddersfield at home, a Stadium where they kept 7 clean sheets last season and shutout Palace two weeks ago. This is a great way to save some precious cash to afford the big guns.

Benjamin Mendy ($7,300 DEF)

Benjamin Mendy comes at a premium price for a defender, but it’s for good reason. In his three games so far he has put in a ridiculous 26 crosses, as well as making 8 clearances. Either playing at left back or left wing back depending on formation, he’s dangerous and scores well anyway. Man City face Palace at home, a team who haven’t scored all season. Meanwhile City have two clean sheets in a row. The stars are aligning for Mendy this week.

De Bruyne ($9,800 MID)

Trying to split Coutinho and KDB for the premium midfield spot in my side has been a tough one, but I’m siding with the Belgian. He is a safe pick, making 60 passes a week on top of his 26 crosses and 4 shots on goal. The scoring system suits him well and a goal could be around the corner. Don’t pick De Bruyne at your own mercy, it could be a blood bath at the Etihad on Saturday arvo.

Chris Wood ($4,000 FWD)

Finally for those who like to take risks, Chris Wood faces Huddersfield at home this week. Wood has two goals in just three games this season and is a lock to start up front for Burnley. He hasn’t quite excelled with the scoring system, but a goal can change everything! You often need a differential to win it and Wood could be your guy.
