Another weekend, another ten games of basketball. What’s better than chucking on the Triple J Hottest 100 and watching some NBA? Winning a $1,300 first prize in the $10,000 Saturday Swish, of course! NBA DFS Tips:

point guard

Damian Lillard ($9,400)

Damian Lillard gets things started for us on this fine Saturday.

More than any other reason, we’re backing the Trail Blazers point guard because of his excellent shooting form recently. In his last eight games, Lillard has shot at 51.4% on 17.7 shots per game.

He’s also draining the three-ball and shot at 60.7% in that same period. There’s no reason not to back Damian Lillard to continue his shooting form today.

Darren Collison ($5,400)

Ah, the dream matchup.

Darren Collison is up against the Cleveland Cavaliers and that’s almost a complete recipe for improved fantasy point production.

While Collison might not come out here and score 6-7x value for your team, he is almost certain to provide 5x value and help you fill out the rest of your team after saving a few dollars at the point guard spot.

shooting guard

Devin Booker ($8,100)

One day I’ll go back and record how many times I’ve recommended each player. When I do, I wouldn’t be surprised to see Devin Booker near the top of the list.

While Booker has slowed down in his last two games, there’s a chance he goes big today if T.J. Warren sits out.

Warren is currently listed as a ‘GTD’ and if he is missing, it pretty much means that Booker has to shoot more. That’s good for us.

Zach LaVine ($5,100)

Since getting more minutes with the Chicago team, Zach LaVine has slowly been making his way into fantasy consideration.

In his first four games, he played just under 20 minutes in each of them. Now, in his last two, he has recorded 24 minutes and his fantasy scoring has lifted with it. If they raise the roof on LaVine and push him upwards of 24 minutes, it’s possible he can crack 35+ or even 40+ fantasy points today.

small forward

LeBron James ($11,000)

LeBron James is a big game player and today is a big game.

It’s that simple, LeBron will be looking to defend the Cavaliers position from the Indiana Pacers today.

In the three games he has faced the Pacers this season, James recorded 60.1, 59.0 and 57.7 fantasy points. It’s tough to pass on LeBron today.

Josh Jackson ($4,200)

Josh Jackson is another player who could benefit from some of the ‘outs’ at the Phoenix Suns.

If Alex Len and/or T.J. Warren sit out, Jackson might be required to lift his game.

power forward

Kristaps Porzingis ($8,700)

Kristaps Porginzis will likely fly under the radar today, but is facing a Phoenix Suns team that he dominated earlier in the season.

While we can’t expect big minutes from Kristaps just yet, there is potential that he is ultra-effective in his limited game time.

Kyle Kuzma ($5,200)

Is it Kyle Kuzma’s turn to shine?

It could be. Kuzma lifted the Lakers in the last quarter to help the team to a 108-107 win over the Celtics in their last game. He’s draining the three-ball and helping out in many other ways.

If the Lakers want to run with a different, or more dynamic lineup today, Kuzma will feature heavily.

Dwight Howard ($9,200)

Dwight Howard is one of the easier picks today.

I don’t know what’s going on, but it’s hard to remember a game when Dwight Howard didn’t pick up 15 rebounds. Well, that’s a lie because he did it seven games ago, but you get the picture.

He’s been rebounding extremely well, and has been recording excellent block totals to go with it. As such, he’s scoring close to 50 fantasy points per night.

And it’s a revenge game.
