Although there are nine games of NBA today, we’re recommending six players from just one of these games. NBA DFS Tips:
The Houston Rockets vs. Phoenix Suns. Both of these teams play at a fast pace and are expected to tally up 229 total points.
Start building your team for the $12,000 Saturday Swish right now.
Chris Paul ($10,300)
Chris Paul might just be the most selected point guard today.
At $10,300, Paul is priced in the very elite – and that’s simply because he has been playing outstanding basketball.
After racking up 68.9 fantasy points in his last game against the Trail Blazers, Paul looks set to rip apart the Phoenix Suns team in a fast-paced matchup today.
Tyler Ulis ($3,900)
Looking at the Houston vs. Phoenix again (a theme of this article), Tyler Ulis stands out as exceptional value.
Tyler Ulis should see 30 minutes or more today against the Houston Rockets which is a game that is likely to ensure plenty of fantasy points.
With 23.5 and 24.2 in his last two games, Ulis is already scoring more than 5x value and it should go up again today.
Devin Booker ($7,500)
We’ve gone for a low-priced guard from the Suns and now it’s time to select our usual guy.
Devin Booker should be one of the main benefactors of this game against the Rockets. A faster pace means there are more shots. More shots mean that Devin Booker should get increased opportunities today compared to his season averages.
Booker is likely to go big today against the Rockets.
Malcolm Brogdon ($5,600)
Unlike our earlier picks, Malcolm Brogdon isn’t exposed to a good matchup.
Instead, he’s just been stepping up lately and sometimes that’s enough to carry him over the line and warrant a selection in daily fantasy NBA.
Today, he’s got the Warriors, but he’s coming off a 41.3 fantasy point game yesterday and has been seeing 36+ minutes in his last two games.
T.J. Warren ($7,500)
T.J. Warren is our fourth player mentioned from the Rockets vs. Suns game.
Warren should see plenty of minutes today against the Rockets because of the small ball tendencies from both teams.
Warren has more upside than someone like Trevor Ariza or other similarly priced selections, but he might let your team down if his shots don’t fall.
Gerald Green ($4,500)
Gerald Green is in a very similar position to T.J. Warren.
I could almost copy and paste the explanation from above – Green is reliant on his shots falling. He’s a high-reward player without massive risk, considering he is priced at just $4,500.
Domantas Sabonis ($5,900)
Domantast Sabonis is on track to be a great play today.
With Myles Turner missing another game, Sabonis should see increased opportunity.
Yes, Sabonis struggled against the Heat in his last game, but a couple of things didn’t go right for the Pacers forward – foul trouble, in particular.
This time around, he should bounce back and score 30+ fantasy points against the Cavaliers.
John Collins ($4,800)
John Collins isn’t locked into that dream Rockets vs. Suns matchup, but instead sees himself in the enticing Atlanta vs. Brooklyn game.
The Brooklyn team are lacking on the defensive end, which should allow Collins to run through the Nets.
If he sees 20+ minutes of game time, that should be enough for him to return value today.
Clint Capela ($7,700)
Clint Capela has been doing work this season with multiple 50+ fantasy point games.
Now, he’s not going to hit these every game (or 40+ games for that matter), but Capela’s chances of scoring in that range are boosted today against the Phoenix Suns.
Don’t want so much exposure to this game? Look at DeMarcus Cousins if Anthony Davis is out again.
