After 4 rounds of action-packed footy we are starting to see a clear difference in the serious premiership contenders and also the teams who will be battling it out down the bottom of the ladder. There has been some really impressive team performances as of late and also some very inconsistent ones. These two teams probably fit into the latter. The Swans and the Crows have both started the year hot and cold. One week they look like they could beat any team in the comp and the next week they have backed it up with a disappointing loss. With both teams looking to get the momentum rolling this is set up for a huge match.

There is $10,000 up for grabs again so follow on as we look at the best plays for your line-up.

Lance Franklin ($9,900)

Probably not my most outrageous selection but you just can’t leave him out of your side if you want to win. Franklin has been one of the form forwards of the competition and while quite expensive for his position, I still think he will hit value this week. He has scored 100+ fantasy points in every match this year and will look to keep on rolling.

Taylor Walker ($6,800)

Sticking with the big guy again this week. He let us down last week with an average performance – he didn’t get much help from his midfielders! The Crows will want to bounce back after a shock drubbing last week and I think Tex will be the man that leads the way.

Luke Parker ($9,200)

Parker is one of the hardest working midfielders in the competition. He is averaging 102 fantasy points getting plenty of touches every match and chiming in with a few goals as well. It will be a great midfield battle here and Parker will need to be at his best to give the Swans a chance.

Hugh Greenwood ($6,700)

In a star-studded midifeld it would be easy for me to suggest one of the Crows big guns. I am going to try find some value for you guys in selecting Greenwood. At this price he can easily hit value and has been a solid performer for the Crows since rocketing onto the scene last season.

Rory Laird ($9,600)

Laird has been one of the top fantasy performers in the competition this year. He is averaging 125 fantasy points across the first four matches. Like Franklin, you will want to have Laird in your team if you want a chance at winning some cash. I am expecting another big game from him up against a strong Sydney forward line.

Callum Mills ($6,300)

Callum Mills is coming off another great season for the Swans after winning the 2016 Rising Star award. He is always in and around the hard ball and has had some solid performances this year. At a low starting price he could add some nice value to your side.

Sam Jacobs ($9,000)

Jacobs looks to be the smart play for the ruckman position in this match. Averaging almost 100 points each match, he is putting up really good numbers for a ruckman. I think he will dominate the contests on Friday night with plenty of hit outs going his way.
