Both teams come into this match after a relatively disappointing start to the season. Western Bulldogs sit in 16th with just one win while the Blues sit dead last and are still chasing their first 4 points of the year. This match looks like it could go either way so hopefully we get a tight, cracking game of footy.
Levi Casboult ($6,000)
Has been a consistent performer for the Blues this year. He is regularly hitting value and at this price looks like a good option to have in your forward line. Has put up a score of 90 a couple of weeks ago and has been in the mix every game with some goals.
Charlie Curnow ($6,800)
I recommended Curnow last match for the Blues and he didn’t let us down hitting over 10x his price. I am going to stick with him here. Generally gets a lot of touches on the footy and looks a good play this week.
Jack Macrae ($9,900)
Macrae has been one of the few shining lights for the Bulldogs this year. He is averaging over 115 fantasy points so far this season and has been a consistent performer. The midfielders in this match all have a lot of quality about them and Macrae will need to be at his best to help the Dogs get the win.
Patrick Cripps ($9,100)
This is a tough call because Cripps this season has been so up and down. Looks untouchable when he is on song but has been struggling to find consistency for the Blues. I am backing him to step up this week as the Blues desperately need a win.
Jason Johannisen ($6,300)
JJ finally found some form last week and began to look like the player that won a Norm Smith medal in a premiership winning side. We all know the quality he can produce and the signs were good last week so I am banking on him having an ever better match this week.
Kade Simpson ($8,900)
Had a busy game last week as the Blues copped a slaughtering from West Coast. He was one of their best and racked up 137 fantasy points. Is always finding the footy and racking up possessions. Looks one of the more solid plays of the match.
Timothy English ($5,100)
Going to go with the value option here with English. The Bulldogs have struggled to find a main-stay ruckman but English proved to have some quality about him last week. He had 107 fantasy points to his name by the end of the match and at this price looks a much better option than Kreuzer.
