There isn’t a lot of time left to take advantage of fantasy basketball this season, so get in while you can! With all of the teams fighting for playoff position or tanking for lottery position, it’s an exciting time as a basketball fan. Make sure you make the most of that and get involved in the Thursday Swish for your chance at $4,000 in prizes. NBA DFS Tips:
Goran Dragic $7,000
Dragic was in terrible form before a 44.5 performance against the Hawks. No surprises though, the Hawks are the league’s third wors PG defense. And guess what? he’s up against the Hawks again today. There’s no more relevant information available, Dragic looks like a good play today.
Any Dallas PG
The tank is on in Dallas, with the Mavs sitting out most of their guys who matter. That leaves minutes and usage for their point guards who always play well. Shelvin Mack $5,100 is in good form and has a lot to play for, and JJ Barea $5,400 has also been scoring well when he suits up. Both guys look like good options against the also tanking Magic.
Damion Lee $4,100
You would not be reprimanded for asking who the hell Damion Lee is. The truth is, he’s some guys lining up for Atlanta that’s become fantasy relevant. He’s starting at SG for the tanking Hawks and averaging 38.7 over the last 4 games. Don’t you just love how daily fantasy brings these guys up on your radar?
Kentavious Caldwell-Pope $6,300
This again comes down the fact that the rest of the guys who matter seem likely to miss. With all the guys out, someone on the Lakers is going to need to step up, if not all of them to some degree. In my mind, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope is the safest option, given he’s played almost 40 mins or more in every game he hasn’t been ejected in lately.
Robert Covington $6,300
Are there any other small forwards priced at 6.2K that have scored 42.4 and 54.7 fantasy points in the last two games? No? Then Robert Covington is your man at small forward for Thursday.
John Collins $6,300
With 30+ fantasy points in his last 3 games, John Collins is not the player you deserve, but the one that you need. He’s playing back to back games with Miami, with a 36.5 to his name yesterday. Nothing to complain about there. Collins brings great value at a decent price, giving you the opportunity to shell out for the big fish that’s yet to come.
Bismack Biyombo $3,900
In the last run of games that Bismack Biyombo started in he played very well. With Vucevic out, he should see 20+ minutes and seems likely to bring good value from a near minimum salary. I’m not sure how high the ceiling is, but I’, confident he’s a good play to make room for spending elsewhere.
Andre Drummond $10,200
If you disregard being ejected, Drummond has had 69, 59.6 and 51.4 in 3 of his last 4 games. Those are numbers that are tough to ignore, especially when considering a centre for you Thursday monster lineup. It feels even better to recommend him against an Embiidless lineup, where the Sixers have struggled to guard the centre position without their young stud.
