Round nine kicks off with the Brisbane Broncos hosting the Canterbury Bulldogs. The Broncos are usually hard to beat at Suncorp Stadium and I’m predicting a dominant performance from the Brisbane boys.
Andrew McCullough ($7,900) has returned but is still under an injury cloud. Michael Lichaa ($6,000) is the cheaper alternative and has been producing a fairly good output. I’m going to choose the Bulldogs’ candidate simply to avoid any injury related dramas. Todd Murphy (3,500) has been named among the reserves and could be called upon if McCullough is a late withdrawal. He will be hard to ignore at his cheap price tag.
Jaydn Su’A ($4,400) is by far the most appealing of the cheaper candidates. Matthew Lodge ($5,100) has been struggling to produce a good base output so he’s easily ignored for now. Tevita Pangai Junior ($5,400) should cover for Josh McGuire at lock and is almost a must have selection for your forwards. Raymond Faitala-Mariner ($6,700) will also be an auto-pick for me while David Klemmer ($8,000) will be my heavy hitter for this match.
I’m predicting a dominant performance from the Broncos so Anthony Milford ($7,100) is an easy selection for me. Jeremy Marshall-King ($3,900) is the only other half I’d be willing to consider, but this is soley due to his extremely cheap price tag.
Jemayne Issako ($5,200) is an auto-pick for me. He’s the goal kicker for the Broncos and should produce an output superior to his worth. Darius Boyd ($5,500) comes with a reasonable price tag and should be considered as a safety choice. Either James Roberts ($7,200) or Corey Oates ($7,700) should be viable choices too. They’re the most expensive candidates these are the guys that can produce a massive output.
