We kick off round 11 this week with a heavily favoured Sydney team predicted to do a big job over a struggling Carlton. Despite what looks to be a one-sided affair, there is still plenty of value picks to be found and cash to be won! Let’s get ready for another $8,000 AFL Special:

Forwards

Lance Franklin ($8,900)

Our mate Buddy has been quiet in his return from injury but I am counting on him to bounce back with a huge performance tonight. If the Swan’s midfield can feed him some good ball it could be a long night for the Blues.

Tom Papley ($6,100)

With a whole lot of attention being placed on Franklin, Papley could find himself free-running on Friday night. Hasn’t been in the best of form this season but this match is as good as any to start finding some.

Midfielders

Patrick Cripps ($9,400)

If the Blues are any chance of an upset win, this guy will need to play out of his skin. Cripps has been a shining light for Carlton so far this season and will play a major role again come Friday night. Averages over 100 fantasy points and looks a solid play.

Ed Curnow ($10,000)

Similarly to Cripps, Curnow has been another star for the Blues and is one of the form players of the competition at the moment. He has racked up 100+ fantasy points on all but 2 occasions this year and will look to continue this against a rampaging Swans side.

Defenders

Jake Lloyd ($8,900)

Lloyd has been a solid play all this season and is starting to reap the benefits of consistency. Scores of 120, 163 and 90 in his last 3 games look good enough for me to have him in my lineup this week.

Kade Simpson ($8,800)

The veteran in the Blues’ defensive line is coming off a season-best performance. 33 disposals to go with 7 marks, Simpson showed his class in a fighting effort against the Cats. He will be needing to re-create something similar for Carlton to get the four points tonight.

Ruckman

Matthew Kreuzer ($9,200)

This looks like the easiest selection of the night for mine. Kreuzer has been in good form and will be expecting to outplay his opposite number, Callum Sinclair. Hoping for a big score from the veteran here tonight.
