NRL $4,000 EELS VS RABBITOHS SPECIAL
The wooden spoon favourites will kick things off this week when they take on the third place South Sydney Rabbitohs. We’d have to expect a one sided affair considering the Bunnies have all four of their Origin stars returning this week. I’m predicting the Rabbitohs to win by a considerable margin.
Damien Cook ($9,800) has returned from Origin duties and is expected to produce a monster output in this match. Cameron King ($4,500) is the starting hooker for the Eels but his output has been less than impressive. It’ll be worth forking out the big bucks on Cook.
There aren’t any cheap candidates when looking at the starting packs. Peni Terepo ($6,600) is the cheapest of the lot but surprisingly he’s been producing one of the higher outputs. Be wary that Tom Burgess’ ($7,000) output has been boosted by tries; it seems unrealistic to expect him to cross the line again this weekend. John Sutton ($7,900) and Angus Crichton ($9,600) are the two second-rowers for the Bunnies and need be considered against such a weak side in the Eels. Nathan Brown ($8,800) has returned at lock and usually produces a huge base output. We’ll have to control our cap allocation in this match so it could be worth taking a punt on a bench player such as Tim Mannah ($5,500).
Mitchell Moses ($5,900) has been named among the reserves so be sure to check the final team list. Cody Walker ($7,600) has been very strong against weak opponents but I think it’ll be more beneficial choosing the cheaper alternative in Adam Reynolds ($6,400). He has the goal kicking duties and the Bunnies could easily pile on the points against the woeful Eels.
I’m going to ignore the outside backs from the Eels. I can’t see them scoring many points against the in-form Bunnies. Campbell Graham ($4,200) is a great option if you need to control your spending. Robert Jennings ($6,200) could also provide some value but he’ll have to improve on last week’s poor performance. Alex Johnston ($7,800), Greg Inglis ($7,700) and Dane Gagai ($6,700) are all capable of producing a huge score in this match, I’ll be leaning more towards GI and Gagai as I try to avoid players coming back from injury.
