The final round of the regular season kicks off with the South Sydney Rabbitohs hosting the West Tigers. The Tigers will fall short of making an appearance in September although the Bunnies will be looking for a boost after a handful of average performances. I’m predicting a high scoring affair with the Bunnies walking away with the two points.

HOOKERS

Damien Cook ($10,500) may be the in-form hooker in the competition but I think Robbie Farah ($7,100) will provide the better value. He’ll be my hooker for this contest.

FORWARDS

Sam Burgess ($8,600) will be easy to ignore for this contest. He’s scoring well below his worth and comes with way too much risk for my liking. Both Thomas Burgess ($6,400) and George Burgess ($5,800) are solid mid-rangers and should be considered for your forwards. They’ll bring consistency to your team and could be the superior choices if the scoreline blows out. Angus Crichton ($9,200) is coming off a huge effort last week while Elijah Taylor’s ($6,300) base potential easily outweighs his price tag.

HALVES

I’m predicting that Cody Walker ($7,300) will string together attacking stats on his way to a huge total. He’ll be my half this week.

OUTSIDE BACKS

The Rabbitohs have been a little disappointing in recent weeks but they’ll treat this match as a stepping stone to a solid finals’ appearance. Greg Inglis ($8,700) looked impressive in his comeback game from injury. I think he’ll continue his great form. David Nofoaluma ($7,500) has been producing the goods on a weekly basis and there’s no reason to believe he won’t continue to do so. Mahe Fonua ($6,200) is my pick of the mid-rangers. He won’t need attacking stats to produce a respectable score and shouldn’t disappoint against the Bunnies.
