Well it all comes down to this. After months of action-packed, intense and high-drama footy, the AFL season is almost over. We see red-hot Collingwood take on the invaders from the West in the Eagles. Both teams were unbelievably good last week and this is set up for a cracker! There’s $10K up for grabs on Moneyball so I’m here to help you with some of my best picks for the big dance.

Josh J. Kennedy ($6,700)

The big forward has been immense for West Coast this season and is a big reason that the Eagles find themselves in the Grand Final. It’s no secret you need your big guns to stand up in these sorts of games and I think Kennedy is ready to fire. If West Coast are to win he will need to kick a bag.

Jack Darling ($6,200)

Rolling with the Eagles big-man combo for the forwards in this match. Darling has also been awesome this year and has played the perfect support role to Kennedy. Both these guys offer huge targets in the forward half and will cause Collingwood defenders problems all day.

Steele Sidebottom ($9,600)

What a season this guy is having. A surprise runner-up in the Brownlow the other night and a best on ground performance last week against Richmond. He has been a ball magnet all year and is crucial to the Pies fast, counter-attacking style of play. My pick for best on ground this week.

Adam Treloar ($8,800)

Missed a couple of months of footy with injury but has worked back into the swing of things now. Getting better with each game under his belt and I think he is ready to fire come Saturday.

Elliot Yeo ($10,500)

Not an earth shattering pick by me but I think to win this contest you will need Yeo in your team. He is pricey but you will need to find room in your team for him. He has been a fantasy beast this season averaging over 107 points per game. I’ve got a feeling he wont decide to go quiet come the big dance.

Jack Crisp ($7,500)

Had the game of his life last week against the Tiges with 30 touches and 2 goals. Don’t see any reason for him slowing down this week and can cause havoc everywhere on the field come Saturday. Can be prone to a quiet game but willing to run the risk with him here.

Mason Cox ($5,400)

It is a flip of the coin between Cox and Grundy but at the huge difference in price i think Cox has much more upside. He was untouchable last week taking 11 marks (8 contested) and kicking 3 goals. Buckley has been deploying him up front and he will cause all sorts of issues to the Eagles back-line.
