As always, the excitement and hype for this year’s NFL season has been huge! Can The Eagles go back to back? Will this be Tom Brady’s final season? There are hundreds of story lines which will be followed throughout the season and we can’t wait! One of the most exciting aspects of the NFL is its involvement as one of the most played fantasy sports in the world. Our NFL contests at Moneyball are always super popular and we love the hype that surrounds them. With 32 teams going at it each week and some massive cash prizes up for grabs, you’d be crazy not to play!
We have kicked things off this season with a HUGE $15,000 Sunday Blitz Guaranteed Contest and plenty of beginner contests for all of our DFS newbies! Speaking of beginners, I am here to help you out. We are going to outline how to play NFL on Moneyball and the key things you need to know as to how it all works. So let’s go!
Selecting your Line up
As with all Moneyball contests, you have a $60,000 salary cap to spend across 9 spots. Your team will be made up off the following positions:
Quarterback (QB) x 1 – This is your go-to man, the puppet master of your team who pulls all the strings!
Running Back (RB) x 2 – These guys are all speed and all power, plenty of rushing yards and touchdowns
Wide Receiver (WR) x 2 – Super athletic and all about those touchdowns. These guys can make or break your lineup
FLEX x 1 – A crucial DFS position. Here you can pick between an extra WR, RB or TE and can be the difference between winning or losing! Choose wisely.
Tight End (TE) x 1 – The all-rounder of the offense. A huge amount of offensive work.
Kicker (K) x 1 – I think you can work this one out!
Defense (D) x 1 – This position is made up of one team’s defense as a whole. Every defensive stat which that team scores is allocated to this position.
We pride ourselves in offering a huge variety of NFL contests. With so many matches going on we have all bases covered! Of course the holy grail of NFL is winning our huge Sunday Blitz contests and other GPPs but there are plenty of others for those who aren’t quite ready for the big leagues.
