First matchup of round 2 sees a preliminary final rematch between Richmond and Collingwood. Last weekend Richmond lost their star defender in Alex Rance, how will they replace him? Collingwood were in a tough matchup against the Cats and will be looking to bounce back. This should be a good matchup to start the round of footy.

Defenders

Jack Crisp @ 7,100- Crisp can either make or break your Moneyball team and that’s why we love taking a punt on this high scoring pie. I do expect to the see the good side of Crisp this weekend but be prepared to take the negative.

Jayden Short @ 6,200 – With now Houli being out of tonight match, makes Short the second pick for the defenders tonight. Was solid enough last week but his scoring always improves without Houli in the lineup. He should get his 85-110 in this matchup.

Midfielder

Adam Treloar @ 8,400 – Treloar looked fantastic last week and expect more of the same from him. 125 last week and did look a little rusty with a few dropped marks which could lead to the potential increase in scoring. At 8,400 talk about a bargain, lock and load and enjoy.

Scott Pendlebury @ 8,200 – Pendlebury is probably one of the most consent and safest moneyball player for the last few years, if you want a safe 100, this is your man. Should be solid scorer in this matchup playing throughout the midfield and half back line.

Kane Lambert @ 7,100 – Wasn’t he fantastic last week being Richmond top midfield scoring having 30 disposal, 7 marks and 4 tackles in his 112 points, but can you trust to score like this again, is it worth taking a punt will his score.

Rucks

Brodie Grundy @ 10,000 – Ignore last week performance for Grundy, I expect him to get back to 2018 best and should easily take care of Nank in this matchup, expect to see him go big. I don’t mind taking a risk of Mason Cox with the lack of talls that Richmond may play this weekend, could score well but I would rather pay up and take Grundy.

Forward

Jamie Elliot @ 6,400 – Didn’t he look fantastic last week kicking three goals and scoring 79 points. He should only improve with one game under his belt.

Chris Mayne @ 6,300 – It’s hard to find a second forward you would be really confident in scoring potential. I’ve decided to go with Mayne in this matchup, playing a nice role getting a few touches with 22 playing that high half forward/wing position.
