We have two potentially one-sided games to kick of this weekend. The Panthers have not had the great start to the season they would have been hoping for but they face the struggling titans in the first game tonight before the Storm travel to Townsville to play the Cowboys. As always, there are plenty of contests to get involved in over on Moneyball and I will be commenting on some of my favourite plays on this slate.

Cameron Smith ($7,800) is set to become the highest point scoring player in NRL history tonight and I don’t see any reason to look further than Smith at Hooker on this slate. Smith will likely get plenty of opportunities to kick goals and set up tries in this game as the storm are short favourites this week.

Jai Arrow ($8,200) has had a mixed start to the season, he has played well but has been victim of the titans random interchange rotation. Arrow is starting to see more consistent minutes in the last two weeks and I expect him to score well if this trend continues. Felise Kaufusi ($7,600) Came close to breaking the line on several occasions last weekend and if the Storm win as expected, he is a chance of recking up a few attacking stats to boost his score. On the same note, Kenneth Bromwich ($5,900) has started the year exceptionally well and, like Kaufusi, will most likely get opportunities to accrue attacking stats this week. Viliame Kikau ($7,400) didn’t have to wait on the bench long last week before taking the field for the first time this year. He had a solid performance and didn’t seem to be concerned too much by his leg. Given an additional week of training and recovery, I think he will have a big game this weekend.

Cameron Munster ($7,900) Has started the year well and I expect this to continue against the Cowboys. Munster has had to take more ownership of the attack this year now that the storm no longer have slater and this has been reflected in his fantasy scores. Nathan Cleary ($7,500)  slotted the game winning field goal in extra time last week and it might have just be the confidence boost this panthers team needed to get their offence firing. The Panthers have have a favourable matchup against the Titans this week and if the Panthers are to win this game, I can see Nathan Cleary posting a big score.

Outside Backs

Waqa Blake ($6,700) had his best game so far this year last week. Despite the game being low scoring, Blake scored 33.2 fantasy points. The Titans’ edge defence has been poor this year so Blake could capitalise on this matchup. Marion Seve ($3,500) will start for the storm again this week due to Vunivalu being ruled out by the judiciary. At bottom dollar, Seve only needs to be on the end of a try and run for 50 odd metres to return value. Dallin Watene-Zelezniak ($4,900) was shifted to fullback mid game last week to assist the struggling Dylan Edwards and has been named at fullback again this week. Watene-Zelezniak is likely to see increased fantasy production playing at fullback instead of taking his usual spot on the wing.
