Round 20 starts between a matchup as the Kangaroo’s host the Hawks from Marvel Stadium. During the week North Melbourne announced the interim coach Reece Shaw will take over the main job as their head coach, so this is his first official matchup as head coach. North Melbourne will be looking to bounce back after a disappointing result in the west and take on a Hawthorn team who went down to Brisbane. This should be a good matchup to start our AFL weekend
Grant Birchall @ 6,200 – Played two games since his return from a long layoff with injury. One to watch to see if he maybe a late out but if not should be good for another 70+ score. which isn’t to bad because I don’t see this matchup being a high scoring one.
Connor Nash @ 3,500 – Looking to save a bit of cash, so the basement priced player in defence might be the way to go. Hopefully Nash can kick us a couple of goals and score some solid points, I’ll be happy with anything over 60 for basement price.
Liam Shiels @ 9,100 – Most expensive midfield in today matchup and should be solid enough. averaging 105 in his last 3 and should be safe to score around that again. This is probably one of the safest options for our team today
James Worpel @ 8,600 – Has been solid recently and should be good again tonight coming off a nice 34 touches and 107 points, should be considered as an option tonight.
Daniel Howe @ 6,400 – What role will Howe play today, will he tag someone like Cunnington or Ziebell or will he play along that half back line. Should be a solid option for us to consider for this matchup
Ben McEvoy @ 7,700 – I’m going with McEvoy in the matchup between him and Goldstein. I just think he’s been in better form, but their isn’t to much between the two so either one should be good in this matchup.
Cameron Zurhaar @ 6,000 – Tough one to narrow down options for today matchups, Zurhaar has been really solid this season, and hopefully can get a few tackles and a couple of goals so we can see a nice score from him.
Oliver Hanrahan @ 4,900 – Been solid enough since his debut for the hawks playing that high half forward role. Hopefully he can get us an 70+ score again for our matchup.
