Friday night footy is back again for another week, and it should be massive! Both teams are fighting hard to move up the ladder, into a spot in the top eight. Only one team will walk away from the MCG with all four points, but who has what it takes? AFL fantasy tips
Sam Naismith $5,600
With Sinclair out of the side and Naismith to be the lone ruck he has an opportunity to dominate scoring. He is a low priced option at $5,600 even if he is facing Gawn. He will likely take most of the ruck contests, with minimal chop outs by the likes of Reid.
Tom Papley $7,200
Forward pressure has been key to Papley’s dominance across the forward line. Averaging 15.5 disposals, 4.7 marks and 4 tackles per game with 13 goals against his name. He is a cheaper option for both teams and has the potential to grab hold of the Demons defense.
Isaac Heeney $8,100
Since coming back into the side, Heeney has been in some fantastic form for the Swans. Averaging 22.3 disposals, 5.1 marks and 5.3 tackles from the opening 9 games. His scoring form is 114.7Fp and at the price $8,100 he is a perfect selection.
Dom Tyson $8,300
With the absence of Jones for the clash with the Swans, it could take a lift from the likes of Tyson. He will need to dig deep as he averages, 25.8 disposals, 4.8 marks and 3.9 tackles. If he can continue to find the football then he should find himself with a decent score.
Clayton Oliver $8,700
Coming off a controversial game last week against the Eagles, Oliver will be looking to stamp his authority on the contest. Averaging 30.2 disposals, 3.3 makes and a massive 6.8 tackles. If he can put last week behind him then he could be in for a massive score.
Josh P. Kennedy $9,400
Absolute lock for tonight’s contest is Josh Kennedy. Prices at $9,400 with an average of 29.8 disposals, 2.5 marks, 4.8 tackles and a fantasy form score of 110.7. He will be first into the contest and look to win plenty of contested footy for the Swans. If the Demons can’t lock him down he will be ruthless in the contest.
Zak Jones $7,200
Jones has every opportunity running off half back to rack up the disposals. Averaging 21.1 disposals, 4.7 marks and 3.8 tackles with a price of $7,200. If he is able to hit the contest hard and the Swans can use his running ability he will be able to score well for any willing team.
Tom McDonald $7,500
In recent weeks McDonald has been in promising form. Averaging 19.1 disposals, 6.8 marks and hitting the score board when he is shifted forward. He has every opportunity to score well no matter where he is playing around the ground. Not a high priced option but wellness worth the risk.
