We’re back with another blockbuster on this Friday night of football, it’s a top of the table clash, two teams that could potentially go all the way this season. Both teams have shown that they can be unstoppable and also that they can be well beaten, we’ll be really looking forward to a real battle from both teams. So here are our AFL fantasy tips for the Friday night of football.

Crows vs Cats Special

Josh Jenkins – $7,900

Since Jenkins has come back from his most recent injury and omission from the side, he has played like a man wanting his spot in the best 22, he’s one of the best at getting in behind the defenders to get the goal over the top and with him pinch hitting in the ruck he gets involved around the ball a lot more laying tackles and getting extra possessions to simply bump his score up further and further.

Tom Stewart – $5,100

Tom Stewart is back into the side after some time out due to injury, he was in some great form playing his best footy for the Cats prior to his injury and i will be looking forward to seeing him back to his best coming back into the lineup, he’s a solid defender that can win his own ball, and uses to ball really well out of defence.

Alex Keath – $3,800

Keath is into the lineup replacing the injured Jake Lever, they are big shoes to fill as Lever is quickly becoming one of the competitions most solid defenders who can also take a great intercepting grab, Keath has been playing well enough in the SANFL to earn his call up, and with limited rookie options, i’d put Keath’s scoring output above that of what Zac Guthrie could produce.

Mitch Duncan – $10,000

With an injury cloud still hanging over Danger’s head in comes Duncan into my team, he has been one of the surprise packets for me this season, scoring a lot heavier than what i thought he would this season, he is averaging 113FP over the season which is solid, and if Danger is a late withdrawal i expect Duncan to step up and score well into the 100’s.

Matt Crouch – $9,400

Matt Crouch is having a great season, he always wins a lot of the ball and with the tag of Scott Selwood most likely going towards Sloane, i’d expect Crouch to continue on with his ways and wracking up those disposals once again, in a big game against the Cats i’m banking on Crouch to play that tiny bit harder and step up for his team to get them over the line.

Hugh Greenwood – $5,400

Greenwood is back into the lineup after getting rested last weekend, he has been one of the best cheap surprise packets in the Fantasy world for me so far this season, scoring really well as a mature age recruit and showing us his poise with ball in hand and is definitely not afraid to lay a tackle, with his basketball background he just seems to find pockets of space to dispose of the ball efficiently.

Lachie Henderson – $5,900

Henderson has been on fire in the last couple weeks scoring 107 and 106FP respectively, he can play as a swing man going up forward or he can play as an extra down back, he is a great user of the ball so his teammates are not afraid to send the ball his way coming out of defence to start their attack and can take a great contested one on one grab.

Riley Knight – $5,400

Knight has been playing well enough in this Crows lineup to keep his spot in the side, he has averaged 81FP over the last 3 weeks, finding the ball across the half forward line and acting as a link up player into the forward line, he also finds himself on the ball here and their when the Crows better known mids are having a breather and has been averaging at least a goal a game, will look be interested to see what he can produce on the big stage on a Friday night against great opposition.
