Finishing off round 22 with some more cracking contests today. Not many footy lovers haven’t already enjoyed the round so far but as the finals approach it will all be won or loss in the final weeks.  All teams scrapping for a sniff but only the best will prevail. Here are my AFL fantasy tips to get you going!

Sean Darcy $5,900

The young Fremantle ruckman has worked hard since getting his shot this year.  Coming off some quality tap work in 2017 he will need this to continue if they are to have any shot against the Tigers.  First use of the footy is important for the Dockers and it all kicks off in the centre.

James Harmes $6,300

Young Demons products have worked well in 2017 and are pushing for finals in a big way.  The Brisbane Lions won’t lie down without a fight this season but the pace of players like Harmes could prove to worry them.  He has shown plenty this year and although his career has just started, he is ready to take that next step for his club.

Jack Billings $8,700

Coming off a quality week last round with a bung eye.  He has just re-signed and is looking to show the Saints fans what they are in for to come.  It’s a must win game for his club if they want a sniff in the final week.  It all comes down to the team working together but individual efforts from the likes of Billings up forward will go a long way to all 4 points for the  club.

Alex Witherden $6,500

Witherden has been a shining light for the Lions of the future young talent that they have to offer.  Coming off a week on the sidelines he should be ready to crack the contest wide open. He is absolutely pin point by foot and knows how to find plenty of the footy for his club.  Doesn’t hurt his scoring when he plays on from the kick outs on occasion also.  Lock him into your team for today’s clash.

Tom Rockliff $8,700

The main man may not be at the Lions next season but he isn’t letting it bother his playing style this season.  Plenty of attention has been put into the likes of Zorko and Rich but Rockliff is the one that will have what it takes to shake his opponent and kill it.  Another player that I would lock into my team if you could squeeze him into your side.

Dustin Martin $10,400

I know that Dusty is an absolute expensive pick for a midfielder today, but he is by far the favourite selection.  He not only boasts big numbers against the Dockers, but he is cracking form and is unstoppable running towards finals.  The Tigers are pushing for top 4 and resting on his shoulders is the weight of the world.  Look for a stiff arm or two to dominate the contest with a few goals against his name on the way.

Tom McDonald $7,700

Doing his job for his side this season up forward is McDonald.  He has been a handy target up there with such great marking ability.  Keep a close eye on the line up as Hogan and Pederson aren’t both in the team this week with him so there is a chance he is deployed back to defence.  He is a roughie at best for today but could be well worth the punt.

Bachar Houli $8,800

Perfect opportunity against the Dockers for Houli to get his running game going.  He is always a hard-working player for Richmond but this game has some real bite to it.  The Hill brothers will look to negate any run the speedy Houli can bring to the Tigers but his senior head should be enough to guide him to a decent game.  High priced defender for today but well worth a shot this close to the end of the season.
