The final day of the 2017 regular season is kicking off and the top eight is still is yet to be defined for another year. It will come down to some absolute crucial contests out on the field and no one can rest easy just yet. With plenty of quality football to be coming our way check out my AFL fantasy tips:
Josh Jenkins $8,100
Jenkins will be looking to finish off the year on a high. The Eagles will be out with a lot to play for regarding finals contention, but if the Crows can get the ball rolling there won’t be stopping them. Whether up forward or punch hitting in the ruck, he knows how to cover the ground well for a big man.
Joe Daniher $7,800
Still a chance to snare the 2017 Coleman medal with an absolute monster of a game. It won’t be an easy task but if the Fremantle of late are anything to go by you can’t rule it out. Big Joe has looked right at home up front this year and will be looking to finish with more goals against his name to round it out.
Josh Kennedy $7,900
The favourite to bring home the Coleman will need a big game at home against Adelaide today. It won’t be easy but with Tahlia ruled out of the game, I would be feeding Kennedy as many times as humanly possible. He knows how to perform in a big game and he will need to here.
Nat Fyfe $9,600
Finding some form in the second half of the season, Fyfe has been steering his side to Meares the 2018 season and looking towards some time off. He won’t die wondering today and will be out to show the media that Fremantle won’t just lie down and bail out of the season as expected. Expecting a big game from Fyfe.
Brandon Ellis $8,100
Another player finding form after the mid-point of the season but the right time for Tiger fans. Moving well through the midfield and half back, Ellis is looking likely to be a dominate force come finals for Richmond alongside Cotchin and Dusty. Priced at $8,100 he is an absolute steal.
Rory Sloane $9,000
No easy task facing te Eagles at home but if the Crows are to walk away with the minor premiership and form heading towards finals then this is a must win game. Sloane will need to lead from the front but no doubt the likes of Hutchy could potentially be given a task to slow the mercurial midfielder in his tracks. Selection st your own risk.
Shane Savage $7,900
The generating run from Savage this season has been first class and will be sought after against Richmond. There won’t be any easy ball to be won with all players fighting for any scraps possible. If Savage can work off his opponent and get running he will go a long way to a high point scoring game.
Luke Ryan $6,700
Young Fremantle defender Luke Ryan has taken his opportunity late in the season. Fully expecting Ryan to produce a solid performance to finish off the 2017 season and show Lyon what he’s got before next year. The Bombers forwards will have other plans but the Dockers will have nothing to lose come the final siren. With it all left out on the park, bring on a big game from both sides.
