point guard

Dennis Schroder ($7,700)

While I love the opportunity to play Dennis Schroder, it’s something that doesn’t come around too often.

Schroder has been playing decent basketball for the Hawks lately and will see himself in a positive matchup against the Suns today, who are generally terrible at defending the point guard spot.

Isaiah Thomas ($7,300)

Isaiah Thomas is back!

I don’t recommend that everyone jumps the gun and locks him into their teams today, however he is a situational play for some teams who are looking for an interesting high-risk, high-reward play.

Thomas is expected to see limited minutes coming off the bench, but he is still more than capable of providing great value for your team.

shooting guard

Devin Booker ($7,800)

Devin Booker hasn’t lost a step.

Booker has slotted right back into the Phoenix Suns team and has begun doing work. In his last game, he tallied up 32 points, six assists and five rebounds against the Sixers.

Now he sees himself up against the Atlanta Hawks who are one of the worst teams at defending the shooting guard position.

Booker is one of the best plays of the day.

Lou Williams ($7,200)

Lou Williams had been somewhat of a fantasy revelation through December but after dropping back to a bench role, it’s been hard to select him again.

However, with Austin Rivers likely to miss the game today, it means that Lou Williams is once again in play for fantasy teams.

small forward

LeBron James ($11,500)

Games of NBA Fantasy will be won or lost depending on this selection right here.

Do you pick LeBron James today or not?

I vote yes. While he might experience some additional rest in the lead-up to the game against the Celtics, James will still do enough to ensure the Cavaliers get over the line against the Trail Blazers.

T.J. Warren ($7,600)

T.J. Warren has hit some form in his last two games.

But even before then, he was putting up some scores with decent consistency. He’s been hovering around the 5x value mark, which is a great return from someone priced at $7,600.

Today against the Hawks, Warren should increase his fantasy production.

power forward

Blake Griffin ($8,500)

Well, well, well, Blake Griffin is already back to our fantasy teams.

After returning two games ago, Griffin has already managed 86.6 fantasy points in two games. He’s racked up six assists in each of these games against the Lakers and Hornets to go with rebounding and scoring.

Griffin is a big chance to score well again today against the Grizzlies.

John Collins ($5,800)

Despite the Hawks limiting John Collins to bench time, the Hawks forward has continued to put up good scores.

Particularly from a fantasy point per-minute perspective, Collins has been excellent lately. Right now, he is scoring just underneath the 30 point mark which is close to 5x value,

Tyson Chandler ($4,200)

We need to save some money today after spending up at other positions and Tyson Chandler stands out as a terrific play at near-minimum price.

Chandler has been very close to 5x value or higher in each of his last four games.
