point guard

Chris Paul ($9,800)

The Houston Rockets are in a favorable matchup with the Minnesota Timberwolves today and that means we will be looking for some exposure to this game.

However, our usual pick in James Harden will be guarded by Jimmy Butler. Chris Paul, on the other hand, will likely be able to rack up all kinds of stats against the Timberwolves on his way to a fantastic fantasy score.

De’Aaron Fox ($5,600)

Since George Hill and Frank Mason have been away from action, De’Aaron Fox has really stepped up his game.

Most recently, he’s providing excellent value through a wide range of statistics but has been really on fire now that his shots are starting to fall.

shooting guard

Jordan Clarkson ($6,000)

Jordan Clarkson appears to be the much-needed injection of athleticism and speed that the Cavaliers required.

He’s starting to play approximately 25 minutes per game but has been scoring well enough to justify a selection here today against the Thunder.

J.R. Smith ($4,300)

It’s not often that streaky shooters continue their form between games, because their shooting percentages are erratic even through quarters.

But now. Smith is starting to shoot a lot better and in his last game he returned 31.7 fantasy points for owners. That’s a fantastic score for his considerably low price.

small forward

Giannis Antetokounmpo ($11,700)

While Giannis isn’t quite as popular of a play as he was at the start of the season, he’s still tearing up the court.

Today, he is going to be a difficult task for the Atlanta Hawks team to handle. The Hawks have struggled to contain the small forward position this season.

Paul George ($9,200)

Paul George’s fantasy scoring has lifted significantly through his last three games. With scores of 63.5, 47.3, and 56.2, George is a fantastic option at $9,200.

The Thunder play the Cavaliers today and George is capable of hitting the 50 fantasy point mark.

power forward

Dwight Powell ($6,200)

If Dirk Nowitzki remains out of the game or limited by his ankle injury, Dwight Powell is a player that will benefit.

He has recently been starting at the center position and has now racked up three consecutive games of 33 fantasy points or more. Rebounding is his go-to statistic, and the Kings allow plenty of rebounds.

Davis Bertans ($3,700)

Davis Bertans seems like the best value play of the day.

The Spurs power forward has been scoring well over 20 fantasy points recently. With potential limitations to some of the aging Spurs roster, Bertans could step right in and fill a hole that exists out there at the moment.

Karl-Anthony Towns ($9,500)

We mentioned at the start that the Rockets vs. Timberwolves game is one to target.

On the other end of the court, we have Karl-Anthony Towns, who will likely be working overtime to keep the Timberwolves in the game offensively. He’s excellent at home and has a good track record against the Rockets.
