point guard

Stephen Curry ($10,000)

Start your weekend with some Stephen Curry.

The Warriors guard is in a prime matchup with the Sacramento Kings today. Defensively, the Kings are terrible. They not only allow the best 3PT shooting percentage to the opposition, but Curry also torched them last season.

He will face the Kings for the first time this season and you might not want to miss it.

Ricky Rubio ($5,100)

Funnily enough, the guard who lit up Curry and the Warriors in their last game also finds himself as a point guard to play today.

Ricky Rubio lifted the Jazz to victory with a typically well-rounded stat line that included 11 assists for the day. Like the Kings, the Suns aren’t great at defending opposing guards and Rubio might have another great day on the court.

shooting guard

C.J. McCollum ($8,200)

The thing about C.J. McCollum is that whenever you play him, it seems to be the day he doesn’t reach his ceiling.

When you don’t play him, of course, he goes for 59 fantasy points just like he did in his last game. McCollum’s 59 fantasy points were a result of a career-high 50 points and a superb 28 point first quarter.

When the shooting is hot, let’s hope he keeps it coming.

Terry Rozier ($5,300)

With Marcus Smart out of the Celtics team right now, Terry Rozier has been one of the guys to step up.

The Celtics guard managed an impressive 55.2 fantasy points against the Knicks in his last game and now looks set to keep it coming against the Hawks today. With Irving out again today, it looks as though Rozier is in for another big game.

small forward

Brandon Ingram ($6,900)

Brandon Ingram might not be the offensive powerhouses that we really want to back from the Lakers, but he certainly plays an important role in the team.

Most recently, Ingram has picked up his output and delivered two 35+ fantasy point games through his last three games.

DeMarre Carroll ($5,700)

Choosing a small forward is often the most difficult aspect of daily fantasy NBA.

When in doubt, run with a consistent option like DeMarre Carroll. Carroll isn’t going to set the court on fire with a blistering performance anytime soon, but he does do enough out there to justify selecting him at his price tag. Most importantly, he’s at just the right price that allows you to round out your team with balance.

power forward

Anthony Davis ($12,500)

Fade Anthony Davis at your own risk.

With DeMarcus Cousins sidelined, Anthony Davis has naturally stepped up. Despite his filled stat line and 63.1 fantasy points, he was unable to carry the Pelicans to victory.

For us, that means that Davis is likely to score big even when the team is on the losing end. Now, averaging 60+ fantasy points through three games, it’s hard to ignore Davis.

Marquese Chriss ($5,200)

Marquese Chriss has finally got things going.

Against the Dallas Mavericks, Chriss delivered 34.4 fantasy points after returning from a sprained ankle. There’s a significant chance that the Suns give Chriss plenty of court time today, and if he sees upward of 30 minutes he should return excellent value for your team.

Julius Randle ($6,800)

This could be your sneaky play of the day.

Julius Randle has stepped up for the Lakers team and started to rack up big numbers now that Brook Lopez’s minutes have reduced.

The reason to play Randle today, though, is that the Nets give up the most fantasy points to opposition centers.
