In what can only be described as a mediocre performance by the Aussies in the ODI’s, our boys will be chomping at the bit for revenge when they take on the South Africans in the first T20 match of the Summer this Saturday. The fast-paced, dynamic and intense format is awesome not just to watch, but to play along in as a DFS fan as well. With that being said, Moneyball has $1,500 up for grabs for this match so lets take a look at some of the key players to squeeze into your line up:

Chris Lynn ($6,900)

I think it is safe to say Lynny didn’t enjoy the ODI series and he wasn’t alone there. This format is where he made a name for himself as one of the biggest hitters in world cricket. I have a feeling he is ready to bounce back here and put on T20 show!

David Miller ($6,600)

You only have to see bits and pieces of his innings the other day to understand how dangerous this guy can be. He made a full-strength Aussie bowling line-up look like mere park cricketers on Sunday on his way to bashing 140 odd. Could be the X factor for the tourists.

Billy Stanlake ($6,500)

Big Billy is back and I’m hoping the combination of height, pace and bounce will tear through the South African batting order. Many of these visiting players will not have come up against the Aussie seamer and I think that works in Stanlake’s favour.

Andrew Tye ($6,400)

Has developed into one of the best T20 bowlers in the world following a breakout big bash season a couple of years back. Has a whole bunch of tricks up his sleeve and can make the most of the drop in pitch here. He will be a big reason Australia win.

All Rounder

Marcus Stoinis ($7,200)

At the higher-end of the prices but for good reason. Stoinis was arguably the Australian’s best in the ODI series and will look to carry that form into the T20s. Can contribute extremely well in both facets of the game and would not be surprised if he is one of the top performers on Moneyball.
