The traditional ANZAC day matchup sees Collingwood vs Essendon. Both teams have been in good form in the recent weeks which should lead to a great matchup. Collingwood were super impressive up north in Brisbane as they just manhandled the Lions while Essendon just were to good on the outside for the Kangaroos.
Jack Crisp @7,600 – He is one my favourite as I write about him every week. He is the ultimate make or break your Moneyball team. He has a extremely high ceiling which is higher than other defender but can show nothing at times. What will the rollercoaster give us today?
Mason Redman @4,000 – Redman has been solid in this lineup, been averaging 68 for the year and if can score something like for this matchup, should be good for the price that he is at.
Adam Treloar @ 9,600 – Has been very solid this year and a lot of people saying that Taylor Adams has an effect on his scoring. I don’t think that’s the case, it’s all about the role that Treloar is given sometimes he spends way too much time on the bench for my liking which affects his scores.
Zack Merrett @ 9,800 – Back to his very best last week scoring the round high 143 against the kangaroos, so I had to mention him as an option because he is in form and has great numbers against Collingwood in the past. But I also need to flag that Collingwood are one of the hardest teams for midfielders to score against Neale last week was in fantastic from and against the pies he was held to 76 points.
Callum Brown @4,600 – To pay for the big guns we need some of these lower price players and Brown is one of these. Average 62 in the last couple weeks, if we can get a 65-70 from him that should be good enough for his price. Just so we can pay up to get the big guns who can go over 120.
Brodie Grundy @10,400 – Do you pay up for Grundy in the matchup, I think yes because he is just going to be so much better than all the other options available. He has the ability to go over 100 while the others will be lucky to score over 60. Roughead could be an option if you believe that the Collingwood will play that uncontested marks.
Jordan de Goey @ 7,700 – Been good this year averaging 95, and as a forward we will take that any day of the week. I don’t see why he wouldn’t do more of the same in this matchup. He will kick a few goals and spend some time in the middle I would expect another solid 80+ score.
Cale Hooker @ 5,800 – a forward option playing a defence role got plenty of marks last weeks, 11 in total for a score of 94. If Hooker has the role, I would expect another solid game from him and for that price anything of 85.
