First game of this round sees the West Coast Eagles host Collingwood Magpies from Optus Stadium over in the west. There is a massive $40,000 prize pool for today matchup. The Eagles coming off a massive win over their cross town rivals in the Dockers while the Magpies had a hard loss against Hawthorn last Friday night. If Collingwood don’t improve from that showing last week this could be nasty if they don’t show up tonight. Here a few options I like for tonight matchup
Elliot Yeo @ 9,900 – Loves a tackle and could have a few tackles tonight. Been a bit quiet in recent weeks only scoring in the 80’s but I’m confident he will be ready to show up in what is a huge matchup.
Jack Crisp @ 8,800 – The inform defender in this matchup, averaging 116 in his last 3. What is promising that he is getting his marks back which will always lead to his higher scoring.
Andrew Gaff @ 10,000 – Loves playing at home, continues put up 100+ scores at home. Seems to be one of the safest options for this matchup, and he does have a ceiling. It must be noted that his marks have been reducing in recent weeks
Luke Shuey @ 9,500 – Been in super form in recent weeks and will only get better as nic nat continues to get more game time. Him and Shuey relationship when it comes to ruckwork is sometimes elite and just fantastic to watch
John Noble @ 3,500 – Was announced during the week that he will make his debut today abit of fresh meat for moneyball, hopefully can score a 60+ but it is a tough first game having to head to Perth to take on the premiers.
What a great battle this is going to be Grundy v Naitanui, can’t wait to see these two go up against each other. Who do you pick in this matchup? If I was to choose someone I would probably Hickey just clearly based on price but ill leave that decision up to you.
Josh Daicos @ 5,000 – Not a lot of options in the forward line but I would take a chance on Daicos hopefully he can score around 70-80 in this matchup.
Chris Mayne @ 7,200 – should be solid enough option as a forward being scoring okay for his position. Expect another 80+ score from him tonight.
