We have a blockbuster of a Saturday that sees five massive games that we get to choose our teams for today’s matchup. Today contest is worth a massive $40,000, today games include the following:
- Brisbane @ Hawthorn – UTAS
- Adelaide @ Carlton – MCG
- North Melbourne @ West Coast – Optus Stadium
- Melbourne @ St Kilda – Marvel Stadium
- Greater Western Sydney @ Port Adelaide – Adelaide Oval
Here are some options I like for today’s matchup
Defenders
Brodie Smith @ 7,500 – Wasn’t that impressive from Smith last week with that massive 133 against the Bombers, playing a totally new role, playing a midfield / half forward role getting plenty of the ball plus kicking a few goals. should be considered again for your team today
Francis Watson @ 4,400 – Was good on his AFL debut last week being a late in for Hurn. Hurn again is out of today game so I think their is an opportunity for Watson to score well in this matchup. Hopefully we can get an 80+ from him today.
Midfielders
Tim Taranto @ 10,300 – First game without either Josh Kelly or Steven Coniglio in the lineup last week and scored a massive 145. I don’t see much changing, Taranto should score well again today, expect another 120+ score from him
Brad Crouch @ 10,200 – Been fantastic in the last fortnight averaging 129 in his last 2. Plays Carlton today who have been giving up points to midfielders so hopefully he can score well again today
Liam Shiels @ 9,000 – Plays down in Tasmania today and should always be consider, has the ability to score really well like he did last week with a nice 133
Hunter Clark @ 6,400 – Looks like a future star and looks like a must have at that price for today matchup going at over 100 in his last 3 and for 6,400 that’s a must have in my eyes
Rucks
Andrew Phillips @ 6,700 – Looking a cheaper option for today matchup so I can spend coin elsewhere. Phillips replaces Kreuzer in the Carlton lineup so he will go in solo to take on Crows who have O’Brien should be solid enough for 6,700
Forwards
Jack Billings @ 9,600 – Has found some serious form in the last few weeks, getting plenty of the ball and the odd goal averaging 117 in the last 3 weeks. He is able to continue that form today and should be solid for at least another 100 + score.
Jack Silvagni @ 5,900 – I’m expecting Silvagni to go to maybe a Sloane today as a bit of a tag. If that’s the case expect him to go well, might get a few tackles and opportunity to score well.
